In July 1946, thirty-three believers gathered at Georgia Tucker Elementary with a shared vision: to plant a gospel-centered community on the growing north side of Monroe. With the support of other believers, Parkview Baptist Church was born. From the beginning, Parkview has been about people gathering to worship, grow in faith, and serve our neighbors. Generation after generation, Parkview has remained a steady presence in North Monroe, walking alongside families through every season of life. Now, more than 75 years later, we’re still committed to that same mission: loving Jesus, loving people, and reaching our city with the hope of the gospel.
