Senior Pastor

Terry Barnes has served as the pastor of Parkview since April 2022 after spending 14 years as Executive Pastor in a church in the Mississippi Delta. Terry previously served Parkview from 1999-2009 as a Student Minister. Terry has immense excitement and humility to serve again in the role of Pastor. Terry and his wife, Denise, have been married for 31 years and have two grown children, Jonathan and Emily, who are both currently living in Mississippi. Terry enjoys a variety of outdoor activities and spending time with his family.

Christian serves as the pastor of our student ministries. He has been in the role since May 2025. Overseeing Parkview Students and Parkview Young Adults, Christian desires to create a genuine, Christ-centered community focused on the Gospel. Christian and his wife, Lorraine, have a daughter, Aletheia. In his spare time, Christian enjoys being in the great outdoors, collecting books for his personal library, blaring Creed while lifting weights, and long walks in nature with his family.
Financial Director

Elaine serves as the Financial Assistant and has been at Parkviews since May 2023. Elaine considers it a privilege to work with the church staff and members to ensure that the financial assets of the church are stewarded well. Elaine is the proud mother of three girls, three sons-in-law, and four grandchildren. Between marriages, graduations, football, cross-country, and track, she keeps herself busy enjoying the company of her family. Elaine's hobbies include tending to her garden, baking, cooking, and finding antiques.

Amanda has served in the church office since December 2024, assisting the ministers and people of the church. She facilitates communication about our ministries to our members and coordinates the use of the facilities with different groups so that everyone is aware of opportunities to “plug in” at Parkview and our community. She lives in Monroe with her husband, two children, and four dogs. Amanda enjoys photographing nature on hikes and relaxing in the hammock in order to “Be still and know.”

The life, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ is at the center of everything we do at Parkview. We desire to have all of Christ for all of life!

We desire to have deep fellowship and genuine support for one another as we gather and scatter in Christian fellowship.

The Word of God is the ultimate source of authority at Parkview. We preach the Bible verse by verse and proclaim the truths of Scripture.
